Tucson Gem Show Beauty and Fun

Updated 1/27/2020

Each winter Tucson AZ is host to the world's largest collection of Gem, Mineral, and Fossil Shows. Take it from me, it's a blast!

In 2020 many different venues hold their events from Jan 30th to Feb. 20. See more venues here.

Colorful crystals, gems, jewelry, lapidary rough and equipment, and architectural and gem infused decor are on display.

The descriptions below show some details from more than 48 shows at venues around the city who welcomed visitors, this past year from Feb. 1-16, 2019.

Vendors from at least 33 countries sold wholesale or retail merchandise.

It's advisable to check each show's website, to get time, dates, and location details. Here's the link for additional 2020 shows.

Approximately 50,000 people attended this past year, a gathering for gem, minerals, and fossil enthusiasts that's been run since 1955.

Here's more of the sights I enjoyed

Use amethyst crystals to integrate energy in mind, body, spirit

I'm enjoying the sunshine and scenery at a Gem Show Venue (unidentified child happy too)

Would you like to attend the Tucson Gem Show in the future?

Please comment below, but don't put links in your comment as I won't be able to publish it that way.

What color gemstone, crystal, or artifact has eye appeal for you?

Did you know you can use crystals and gemstones for their healing power? Usually it's the ones that attract you that work best for you.

Before you go, please comment below. What things would you like to see at the upcoming gem and mineral show or which things appeal to you of those I photographed. Please share this post link on social media, and thanks for visiting.

  1. I've never attended a show like this. I had no idea gems and stones were so popular! I would always go and try something new like this.

  3. Hi Nancy - they're so beautiful and I loved that fossil at the end too. Nature has so many gorgeous creations and it would have been amazing to walk from one to the next all under one roof.
Thanks for linking up with us at MLSTL and I've shared on my SM 😊

  5. Hi Nancy, what a fascinating show and crystals are beautiful. Like Leanne the fossil at the end was one of my favourites. Crystals hold a fascination for many especially their healing properties. Thanks for sharing on #MLSTL and I will be sharing on SM.
